While doing a quick run through of Whole Foods Monday evening, I stopped in the refrigerated area and devoured a delicious sample of a roasted carob coconut berry drop made by American Gra-Frutti . Yum! Normally, I am not a big fan of carob, however these trufflesque drops were really incredible and changed my mind forever. I bought a container of 6, ate one in the car on the way home, and have thoroughly enjoyed them the past few days.
I was even happier to turn the package over and find out that they are made locally in Marietta, GA!
I will most definitely purchase them again.

American GraFrutti, It’s NOT Fruitcake! had the pleasure of being included in a CNN shoot in October that will run in Dr.’s offices talking about holiday menus that feature “healthy” alternative choices to the normal heavy meals the holidays often bring. Holly Firfer was the host, along with Chef Jon Schwenk of C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar on Cobb Parkway. Special thanks to CNN, Holly Firfer, Chef Jon, Toren Anderson, and C & S Seafood! “Ok, you may have tried fruitcakes, but never like this!! Love at first tiny bite. Period.” Tom Sullivan
Hi Marilyn,
Today I had the pleasure of tasting (on camera) your delicious Gra-frutti! It is the best I have ever eaten. Wow! I love that you were true to all natural tradition of excellence. There is no compromise on taste. I was hooked on first bite. I am so glad Holly brought me some! Happiest of Holiday’s!
Sincerely,

American GraFrutti had the privilege and pleasure, over the Labor Day weekend, to participate in the 15th Annual, Artists Market – Family Festival, US 10K Classic – “Race for Children in Need”.
With great sponsors like Publix, Gatorade, Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, Wellstar, just to name a few, the goal of $195,000 was reached! Since 1995, over $2,000,000 has been contributed to local children’s charities.
This year, all contributions are donated to the World Children’s Center – “Every Child Deserves a Loving Home”. The World Children’s Center community of neighborhoods and supportive services are located on a sprawling 710 acres in west Georgia centrally located between Atlanta, Birmingham, and Chattanooga. When completely built, the community will include 7 distinct neighborhoods – each with its own park and playground, a school, wellness center, food and clothing distribution center, art center, worship center, among many others.
American GraFrutti passed out samples of its delicious “It’s Not Fruit Cake” and had a delightfully overwhelming response from all ages!
Some of the comments were:
“I like fruit cake, but this is better!”
“You’re right! It’s not fruit cake!”
“It looks healthy, and it’s not too sweet!”
“My son is a fussy eater, and he loves it. He begged me to come over and try it!”
“This is awesome – where can I buy it?”
“This tastes something like my great grandmother made – it takes me back in time!”
“It must be healthy because you guys are not fat!”
To all of the sponsors and attendees who made this a great event—Many Thanks!! These children are our hope – and our future!
Watch for American GraFrutti!! We are taking orders for the holidays!!
We will be at the Cobb Galleria Gardens every Thursday from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
